Louis Thompson has suffered a double fracture to his fibula according to Pompey boss Danny Cowley.
The Club tweeted this morning that Thompson will be seeing a specialist later this week.
The injury was sustained after a tackle from Whelan in this weekend’s 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers, for which the midfielder only received a yellow card.
Whilst there has been no update yet on the expected length of Thompson’s absence, Danny Cowley told Henry Deacon from Express FM that it could be “weeks rather than months”
